Job Description:
We are looking for a seasoned QA Practice Leader to drive the strategic growth and maturity of our Quality Assurance Center of Excellence (CoE). This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in QA strategy, presales engagement, and delivery leadership, and a strong understanding of Health Insurance domain.
Key Responsibilities:
Practice Leadership & Strategy
- Define and evolve the QA vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business and industry goals.
- Build scalable QA frameworks, methodologies, and governance models.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing QA team across functional, automation, and performance testing.
Presales & Solutioning
- Partner with sales and solution teams to support RFPs, proposals, and client presentations.
- Design QA approaches for complex engagements, including effort estimation and risk assessment.
- Represent QA capabilities in client discussions and strategic planning sessions.
Delivery Excellence
- Oversee QA execution across multiple projects ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement through metrics, retrospectives, and innovation.
- Ensure alignment with DevOps, Agile, and CI/CD practices.
Technology & Innovation
- Evaluate and implement modern QA tools and platforms (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestNG, Azure DevOps).
- Promote test automation, shift-left testing, and AI/ML-based QA solutions.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and bring in emerging practices to enhance quality and efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10 years in QA roles with at least 3 years in a leadership or practice-building capacity.
- Proven experience in presales, client engagement, and proposal support.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, DevOps, and test automation strategies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
- Experience with QA tools like Selenium, Postman, JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Domain expertise in healthcare and/or Health Insurance is highly preferred.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and microservices testing.
- ISTQB or equivalent certification.
