Hours & Compensation
- $18 - $22/hr (Depends On Experience)
- Full Time (40 hours per week): Monday - Thursday, 6:30 am - 5 pm
- Business Casual attire

We are looking for a friendly, professional receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients at our Canby office at 409 NW 2nd Ave. This job is great for a college student in the social sciences (psychology, social work, counseling, pre-med), someone with customer service experience wanting to transition to a medical office, or someone already in the field.
Qualifications
- High School Degree or equivalent (required)
- Customer Service Experience (1 year minimum)
- Medical Office Experience (1 year minimum)
- EHR/EMR Systems Experience (1 year minimum)
Basic Duties
- Welcome patients and vendors to the office in a courteous and professional manner
- Manage a high volume of phone calls/voice mails/faxes/emails
- Schedule appointments
- Monitoring Prescription renewal requests/side effects
- Referring new patient inquiries to the NP Coordinator
- Assisting with prior authorizations, records requests, and scheduling.
- Check-in Appointments
- Update patient account information
- Collect patient payments as needed.
- Communicate with providers about patient arrivals
- Troubleshooting patient issues connecting to telemedicine appointments.
- Coordinate pharmaceutical rep meetings with practitioners.
- Opening and/or closing the office

- Experience and proficiency with Google Workspace/Gsuite
- Experience and proficiency with an EHR system
- Maintain and update provider and patient data
- Collect and verify accurate insurance information
- Organize and maintain confidential medical files and records
- Knowledge of insurance and medical billing terminology
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
