The Sales Account Manager is responsible for identifying leads and creating business relations, inside and outside of the company, with existing and prospective customers. Works with Sales Manager to ensure customer satisfaction, to cultivate loyalty via excellent followup at all stages and aspects of the sales cycle.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Seek, cultivate, and manage customer relationships, inside and outside the company.
- Utilize sales reports and other data to recognize
- Create a cold call list and make cold calls to prospective customers.
- Follow sales leads and schedule appointments with prospective customers.
- Follow up with customers and provide solutions if product concern arises.
- Provide training to customers and their teams on various product lines and services of our company.
- Report market observations and competition intel.
- Serve as the first line of contact in the preparation of sales quotes and bid requirements.
- Maintain quality prospecting calls on a continual basis including cold calls and in-person visitation.
- Complete and deliver all required paperwork, expense reports, sales pipelines, forecasts, and contracts as required by the company policy and management.
- Record and maintain all information, appointments, and opportunity information in the CRM system.
- Represent and present company products at trade shows, events, and other speaking engagements.
- May need to travel overnight, as necessary, and attend all trade shows, sales events, and sales meetings.
- Conduct plant walk through in both locations. (MVC & Duarte).
- Other duties and special projects as the need arises.
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, new construction, and/or commercial projects preferred.
- Knowledge of building materials, construction processes, and local building codes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications.
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Strong selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Superior time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to create and deliver professional presentations tailored to customer needs.
- Strong relationship management skills with openness to feedback and coaching.
- Strong numerical abilities and a problem-solving attitude.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and, at times, high-pressure environment.
- Ability to assess and prioritize customer concerns, applying the appropriate level of urgency and effective damage control when issues arise.
- Extensive knowledge and ability to interpret and commercial building plan sets.
- Understanding of CAD drawings to support project coordination and customer discussions.
- Weekend availability, as required by customer demand and business needs.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, business management, or related field or a combination of education and work experience.
- Any formal training or education that demonstrates expertise in sales or customer engagement is strongly preferred:
- Certified Inside Sales Professional (CISP).
- Certified Professional Sales Person (CPSP).
- Certified Sales Leadership Professional (CSLP).
- HubSpot Inbound Sales.
- RISE Up Sales.
- Familiarity with sales tools and other related software.
- Must have valid driver's license, own reliable transportation, be able to pass MVR check, and vehicle insurance must meet company's requirements.
