Job Overview

Value Technology seeking a highly experienced PEGA Developer with strong Pega migration and Banking domain experience. This role involves hands-on development, integration, performance tuning, and leading complex enterprise-level Pega programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure Pega solutions, integrations, and customized components.
• Lead development, testing, implementation, and support of complex Pega applications.
• Build monitoring, security controls, and non-functional capabilities for production systems.
• Solve complex technical issues and mentor junior developers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, refine user stories, and deliver high-quality working software.
• Create automated unit tests and support integration/functional testing.
• Support release management across all lifecycle stages.
• Conduct detailed Pega code reviews and enforce guardrail compliance.
• Monitor application performance and implement system optimizations.
• Develop and maintain integrations with distributed systems, mainframe, MuleSoft APIs, SFTP, and message queues.

Required Qualifications

• 10 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Pega migration, Smart Dispute, and Debit Card systems.
• Deep understanding of Pega architecture, rules, guardrails, and best practices.
• Experience leading projects and mentoring team members.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in Pega platform design and development.
• Strong SQL knowledge (SQL Server, Postgres).
• Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations in Pega.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab).
• Kafka or other messaging systems experience.
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Strong understanding of SOA, OpenAPI, and enterprise service architectures.
• Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and automated testing.
• Banking/financial services experience.
