Responsibilities: - Design and implement engaging ELA curriculum and lesson plans, integrating strategies supportive of English Language Learners. - Provide instruction in a variety of settings, both pull-out and inclusive, ensuring that content is accessible and engaging for all students. - Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs, abilities, and interests while maintaining the integrity of academic standards. - Foster an inclusive classroom environment that respects diversity and encourages students to express their thoughts, opinions, and ideas in English. - Collaborate with colleagues, ELL specialists, and other support staff to enhance instructional planning and support the linguistic and academic growth of ELLs. - Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development, ensuring confidentiality of student records and information. - Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, potential challenges, and constructive strategies to support their children's language development and academic growth.
