Responsibilities
- Carefully review order sheets or pick lists to locate items within the warehouse
- Use handheld scanners or other technology to accurately pick products for customer orders
- Ensure all items are correctly selected, counted, and packed according to quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking targets and deadlines
- Report any stock discrepancies or damaged goods promptly to supervisors
- Follow safety procedures at all times, including proper lifting techniques and equipment handling
Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehouse operations, order picking, or related roles is preferred but not required
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in selecting items
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic familiarity with warehouse technology such as scanners or inventory management systems is a plus
