What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer/Testing Technician position at Value Plus Engineering Solutions (VPES)?
VPES is currently seeking full time Construction Materials Testing Technician. Under general supervision of a Project Manager, the candidate should be able to perform construction inspection, testing and quality assurance on public works and infrastructure development projects We are looking for a team oriented, quality minded, and motivated individual. Professional development and training are encouraged and assistance to procure required certifications will be provided as required. There are advancement opportunities available with the goal of transitioning to a Resident Project Inspector.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Performs testing using relevant equipment, project specific observations and site assessment under direct supervision from project managers.
- Uses specific methods to observe site activities and perform tasks
- Provide testing/daily reports of results
- Maintains detailed documentation and data from test results
- Communicates effectively with client and project teams
- Adhere to project and site safety practices and policies
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
