The Warehouse Manager is the key in assisting the Assistant Manager to ensuring that we meet that goal. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall warehouse and delivery operations. The Warehouse Manager achieves assigned goals and objectives in a timely and accurate manner, keeping the Assistant and Store Manager partnered in on challenges and opportunities. They represent the Company Vision, Values and Brand in the warehouse.
Duties
- Safely operate heavy equipment including pallet jacks, four wheeler's and dollies to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct inventory management activities such as stock counting, inventory control, and using RF scanners to track items accurately.
- Assist with order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments using warehouse management systems like AS400.
- Handle materials with care during stocking, order fulfillment, and load & unload tasks while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Support warehouse distribution efforts by organizing storage areas, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring proper packaging of goods.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve overall warehouse management practices.
Experience
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment or manufacturing setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., AS400) and RF scanners is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with heavy lifting and materials handling enhances your suitability for this role.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and best practices in warehouse safety is a plus.
- Previous experience in shipping & receiving, stock management, or warehouse supervision will be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail combined with mechanical aptitude ensures accuracy in order picking, packing, and inventory control.
