Role Description
The Marketing Coordinator executes core marketing activities that support sales effectiveness, business development, and brand credibility in the hunger-relief sector. This role ensures VAFS’s value proposition is clearly communicated, consistently presented, and operationally supported across priority channels.
Core Responsibilities
Marketing Execution & Content
- Execute email marketing campaigns, content publishing, and social media activity (primarily LinkedIn).
- Create and maintain core marketing assets including one-pagers, presentations, case studies, and digital content.
- Maintain a consistent publishing cadence and organized content calendar.
Sales Enablement
- Develop and maintain sales collateral that supports consultative selling.
- Support sales promotions, campaigns, and customer communications.
Marketing Operations
- Support marketing reporting, basic performance tracking, and CRM alignment.
- Document repeatable marketing processes and maintain shared asset libraries.
Events & Brand Support
- Coordinate logistics and materials for conferences, tradeshows, webinars, and customer events.
- Ensure brand consistency across all external-facing materials.
Qualifications
- 3 years of hands-on B2B marketing experience in a small or mid-sized organization
- Practical experience with email marketing, content creation, and sales support
- Strong written communication skills and comfort using DIY design tools (e.g., Canva)
- Ability to operate independently, prioritize work, and execute consistently
- Comfortable learning and working within multiple systems and tools
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising or Communications
