Value Added Distributors is looking for a driven, hardworking, and enthusiastic Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Associate to join their team in Chambersburg, PA! This position would mainly be responsible for managing customer inventory through delivering, stocking, counting, and re-ordering products. Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities for the VMI Associate:
- Develop customer relationships.
- Pursue new sales opportunities.
- Maintain customer inventory levels.
- Establishmaintain customer binders for each VMI customer.
- Participate in weekly conference calls with other VMI associates and VMI Manager.
- Meet with branch manager weekly (5-10) minutes to address any changes in stock levels at the customer location.
- Establish a backup training schedule with the branch manager to ensure proper coverage.
- Run usage reports quarterly and review with outside sales personnel.
- Review biannual VMI reports with customers.
- Pull and deliver the product to the proper inventory location, department or personnel.
- Order entry.

Necessary Skills for the VMI Associate:
- Good decision-making ability, be highly organized with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.
- Highly effective team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
Required Skills for the VMI Associate:
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record is required.
- The ability to successfully obtain a DOT medical card and a Class C Non-CDL driver's license.
- Comfortable and willing to drive in all types of weather.
- Previous knowledge of hydraulic components is a plus.
