Production & Assembly Technician

Production & Assembly Technician Compensation:

• Competitive pay of $16.00/hour

• Consistent 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday schedule (with some overtime as needed)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Safely using tools and equipment to cut and assemble hydraulic hoses (and other products) according to production guidelines and customer specifications
• Wearing PPE, maintaining a neat work area, and collaborating with team members to meet deadlines and achieve company goals
• Complying with all safety procedures, quality standards, company policies, and customer requirements
• Completing and submitting inspection paperwork
• Identifying and working through the noncomformance of products
• Serving as a positive example for your team
• Participating in additional training to keep expanding your skills and learn different parts of the business

REQUIREMENTS

• 18 years old
• Ability to use equipment and tools like saws, crimpers, forklifts, etc.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret technical work instructions and documents
• Physical ability to safely lift 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
• Ability to apply basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing) and use/read tape measures/digital calipers
• Basic computer skills with the ability to type 25 wpm
• Ability to balance priorities, work with a sense of urgency, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to communicate clearly and coordinate with other teams
• Willingness to learn and follow standard company practices
• Forklift certification (preferred); we will train if needed!
