Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Rump Truck Delivery Driver operating vehicles under 26,000 gross vehicle weight (GVW) delivering Storage Containers.
Duties
- Safely operate trucks under 26,000 GVW across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and route records for each trip.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols during route driving to ensure personal safety and that of others on the road.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred.
- Must Pass Pre-Employment DOT Drug Test
- Proven experience in truck driving, especially with delivery routes.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight transportation.
