Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Mechanical Engineer based in Presque Isle, ME. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for hypersonic delivery and space access projects. Daily responsibilities include performing advanced machine design, utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, engaging in Research and Development (R&D), and managing engineering projects. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be a key part of the role to ensure successful project execution and innovation.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design
- Expertise in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
- Experience with Project Management, including leading cross-functional engineering teams
- Background in Research and Development (R&D) for mechanical systems
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in aerospace or space technologies is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
