Regional Manager

REGIONAL LEAD / MANAGER - LIFE SCIENCES CONSULTING / SERVICES

POSITION SUMMARY

The Regional Manager will lead operations and drive client growth within the assigned region. This role combines strategic leadership, business development, and client relationship management to ensure exceptional service delivery and revenue expansion. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with strong knowledge of life sciences compliance and validation practices, coupled with a proven ability to grow accounts and build long-term partnerships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Include but not limited to):

Client Growth & Relationship Management

• Act as the primary contact for key regional clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for account growth.
• Lead regional growth strategies and conduct business reviews to align performance with client needs.

Industry Engagement & Brand Presence

• Represent Valspec at industry events (e.g., ISPE, PDA, DIA) to strengthen relationships and elevate brand visibility.
• Engage with industry leaders to track trends and uncover new business opportunities.

Operational & Financial Leadership

• Oversee project delivery in compliance with GxP and global regulatory standards.
• Optimize resource allocation and project prioritization to ensure timely, high-quality execution.
• Manage project budgets and financial performance, identifying cost efficiencies and mitigating risks.
• Analyze business financial data to support strategic decisions and improve profitability.

Team Leadership & Development

• Recruit, mentor, and develop regional team members, promoting collaboration and accountability.
• Provide training on compliance, validation, and client engagement best practices.

Stakeholder & Project Management

• Align internal teams, clients, and partners on project goals and timelines.
• Maintain transparent communication and reporting to build trust and ensure successful outcomes.

KEY COMPETENCIES

• 8 years in life sciences consulting with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in business development, account growth, and client relationship management.
• Deep knowledge of the markets and potential clients in the Mid-Atlantic region.
• Strong knowledge of Life Sciences industry.
• Exceptional leadership skills
• Ability to communicate vision both internally and externally
• Communication excellence at all organizational levels
