The Role
We’re looking for a Growth Lead to own the partner-to-merchant revenue lifecycle in the United States market. This is not just a sales role — it’s about helping SaaS platforms embed payments into their product and monetization strategy.
You’ll act as the commercial founder of your pod, accountable for pipeline creation, partner acquisition, merchant activation, and revenue delivery. You’ll work cross-functionally with technical, product, and operations teams both at Valpay and with our partners to unlock growth.
What You’ll do
- Acquire and grow software partner accounts: Prospect, pitch, and close Saas platforms by positioning embedded payments as a revenue engine.
- Identify and develop growth opportunities: Target regions or verticals with the highest potential and shape localized outreach.
- Own partner relationships: Collaborate with partner sales teams to activate and scale merchant accounts.
- Drive full lifecycle adoption: Orchestrate your pod to ensure smooth onboarding, product adoption, and revenue expansion.
- Lead with influence: Be accountable for the metrics and Align pod members around ambitious commercial goals.
What you Bring
- 5 years in B2B sales, partnerships, or growth (SaaS, fintech, or payments).
- Experience selling to or partnering with software companies/ISVs
- Strong mix of commercial skills and technical comfort.
- Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Builder mentality: self-motivated, proactive, and not afraid to cold call or go after big accounts.
- Bonus: Background in PayFac, embedded finance, or SaaS partnerships
