Role Description This is a contract, on-site Caregiver role located in Dallas, TX. The Caregiver will assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. Duties include helping with meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders (as permitted), and transportation or accompaniment to appointments and community activities. The role involves monitoring client well-being, reporting changes in condition to supervisors or family members, and following care plans and safety protocols. Caregivers are expected to provide companionship, encourage independence, and maintain professional boundaries while delivering respectful, person-centered care.
Qualifications
- Experience providing direct care or support with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility assistance, and basic homemaking tasks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust, provide clear updates, and work collaboratively with clients, families, and supervisors.
- Ability to follow care plans, observe and report changes in client condition, and adhere to safety, hygiene, and confidentiality standards.
- Reliability and time management skills to arrive punctually, manage multiple tasks, and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
- Physical ability to assist with transfers, stand for extended periods, and perform light household duties as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant caregiving certifications (such as CNA or home health aide) are a plus.
