Architectural / Environmental Designer

Location: Deerfield Beach, Florida, In Person

Company: VALR, VALR Energy and VALR Experience, Inc.

About VALR

VALR operates across two fast moving verticals. VALR Energy is a performance beverage brand built on growth, culture, and community. VALR Experience is a national experiential and environmental branding agency executing large scale programs across sports, venues, and global events. VALR Energy produces nitrogen infused energy beverages with naturally sourced caffeine from green tea and focuses on experiential branding through consumer products including energy drinks and performance wear. This role operates across both affiliated entities within our organization structure and is responsible for supporting how the brand shows up across all channels. VALR is building an in house creative and content engine across both verticals. This role supports the development, execution, and consistency of creative output across both entities. This is not a traditional isolated design role. This position is focused on executing high quality environmental and spatial design while maintaining speed, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives. You will work within the creative team to support execution across physical environments, venues, and large scale experiential programs.

Read This Before You Apply

If you are looking for a traditional architectural role, a slower design process, or a position focused primarily on conceptual work without execution, this is not the role. If you need extended time to develop ideas, prefer long approval cycles, or are more comfortable presenting than producing, this is not the role. If you are used to operating in environments where output is limited and highly controlled, this is not the role.

Role Overview

We are seeking an Architectural / Environmental Designer to support the design and execution of large scale environmental branding and experiential programs across both VALR entities. This role focuses on developing spatial design concepts, translating brand identity into physical environments, and executing production ready drawings for fabrication and installation. You will play a key role in bringing brand experiences to life across stadiums, venues, events, and retail environments. This role also supports production level execution, including technical drawings, layouts, and coordination with fabrication and installation teams. You will participate in both in person and virtual creative sessions, collaborating with the VALR creative team on a daily and weekly basis. This is a hands-on execution role built for precision, speed, and real world application.

Responsibilities

• Develop environmental and spatial design concepts across venues, events, and experiential programs

• Translate brand identity into physical environments including signage, wayfinding, and large format installations

• Create 3D models and designs for packaging, boxes, end cap displays, environmental exhibits, and experiential activations as needed

• Produce detailed drawings, layouts, and technical documents for fabrication and installation

• Create scaled plans, elevations, and renderings for internal and client facing presentations associated with signage programs

• Coordinate with fabrication teams, vendors, and installers to ensure accuracy and execution

• Support on site execution, installations, and field adjustments as needed

• Collaborate with creative, production, and operations teams to align design with execution

• Ensure accuracy, feasibility, and constructability across all design outputs

• Maintain organized drawing sets, revisions, and project documentation

• Participate in brainstorming, planning, and creative collaboration sessions

• Support rapid iteration and updates based on real time project needs

Key Objectives

• Deliver high quality environmental design solutions that translate effectively into built environments

• Ensure all drawings and plans are accurate, production ready, and aligned with execution

• Reduce revision cycles through strong initial layouts and technical accuracy

• Maintain speed and efficiency across multiple active projects

• Strengthen consistency of brand execution across physical environments

What This Role Is

This is a high output environmental design role focused on execution, technical accuracy, and real world application across large scale experiential environments.
