Job Summary
ValorForge Buildings is hiring an experienced Metal Building Sales Representative to join our growing remote sales team. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in steel building sales, carports, garages, barns, RV covers, or commercial metal structures who understand pricing, layouts, manufacturer lead times, financing options, and the full sales cycle.
As a commission-based sales role with uncapped earning potential, this position offers a steady flow of leads, strong support systems, and the flexibility to work remotely while selling high-demand metal building products nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound commission-based sales for steel carports, metal garages, barns, RV covers, commercial buildings, and custom metal structures.
- Guide customers through building configurations, upgrades, and accurate pricing using a consultative sales approach.
- Create professional quotes and presentations using our 3D Metal Building Designer.
- Track leads, follow-ups, and customer communications using CRM software.
- Actively close deals and maintain consistent follow-up to achieve sales goals.
- Generate and nurture leads via phone calls, messages, and social media engagement.
- Communicate with manufacturers and scheduling teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Build long-term customer relationships and provide knowledgeable product guidance throughout the sales process.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in metal building sales, steel structures, or carport sales.
- Strong understanding of building styles, dimensions, pricing structures, deposits, and financing/RTO programs.
- Proven ability to close deals and manage customer relationships in a sales-driven environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote sales role.
- Experience using CRM software or willingness to learn quickly.
Preferred Experience
- Background in construction sales, building materials, or related industries.
- Experience using 3D design or quoting tools.
