About the role
We are looking for a highly organized and motivated individual who is interested in building long-term relationships with clients, serving them authentically and energetically, while developing an owner's mindset that will pave the way to achieving our mission as a firm: Be the Premier Financial and Life Planners for Federal Employees. We are looking for someone who is motivated by a clear mission and has the energy to contribute to the work that needs to be done to achieve it.
You'll quickly become the go-to person for all things client related at a client centric firm. You'll be communicating directly with clients, producing reports that advisors and clients will rely on for their financial planning, and maintaining the operational backbone of the firm. Primary Duties:
- You will work on an ensemble team in a client service role.
- Provide administrative support to financial advisors, managers, and other team
members
- Assist in the preparation of client proposals, reports, account opening forms, and
correspondence
- Maintain client database and client records
- Assist in maintaining compliance records and help prepare documents for audits
- Process and reconcile trades as needed
- Understand and support the firm’s mission and strategy.
- Adhere to company and industry compliance policies.
Qualifications:
- 4-year college degree, preferred
- Series 65 or equivalent, preferred
- Adherence to the VWP Fiduciary Oath
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Ability to quickly learn multiple software programs
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within the financial services industry
- Familiarity with financial terminology and processes is a plus
- Knowledge of federal employee benefits is a plus
The Details
Start Date: Immediately
Status: Full-time (40 hours per week with flexible schedule)
Overtime Status: Exempt
Location: Washington, DC or Tysons Corner, VA
- This is an in-person role in our DC or Tysons Corner office. The expectation is to work in-person Monday through Thursday and the ability to work remotely on Friday.
- The ability to work remotely may increase, if desired after completing initial training and consistently maintaining expectations. Hours are generally 8:30-5 EST Mon-Fri but can be adjusted slightly to meet the needs of the individual and company.

Travel: Occasional travel required for team retreats and conferences
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary is between $60-70k/Annually
- Potential 10% quarterly bonus
