Laboratory Technician Intern — Valor Scientific
Location: Madison, AL (in-person)
Duration: 12 weeks, flexible start in May or June
Hours: 30 hours per week

Responsibilities
- Support daily laboratory operations, including sample preparation, buffer and media preparation, and equipment maintenance
- Assist with protein expression, purification, and quality control workflows
- Participate in assay development and execution
- Maintain accurate records in laboratory notebooks and digital systems
Qualifications
- Current undergraduate or graduate student in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related field
- Prior laboratory coursework or research experience
- Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Reliable, professional, and able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule
