Kindergarten-5th Grade Assistant Teacher
Position Overview Kindergarten-5th Grade Assistant Teachers will provide assistance and support to K-5 Homeroom Teachers in a variety of areas, including classroom instruction, lesson planning, grading, student discipline, and classroom logistics. Assistant Teachers will also play an important role in providing targeted, small group and one-on-one instruction to students needing support in math and reading. By carrying out these duties with a high level of responsibility and attention to detail, Assistant Teachers will help to ensure that the classroom environment is characterized by joy, respect, order, wonder, and deep engagement.
