Position Overview:
Valor Protection Safety Agency is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Recruiter / HR Assistant to support our growing team. This role is responsible for full-cycle recruiting, onboarding coordination, and assisting with day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about building strong teams and maintaining a positive company culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting (job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring)
- Coordinate onboarding, including background checks, documentation, and new hire setup
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
- Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and attendance tracking
- Support employee relations by addressing basic inquiries and escalating concerns as needed
- Help implement HR policies, procedures, and company initiatives
- Assist with orientation, recruiting, hiring events, training coordination and compliance requirements
- Support disciplinary processes and documentation
- Collaborate with operations to ensure proper staffing coverage
Previous experience in recruiting, HR, or administrative support
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; HRIS or ATS experience is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
