Description
Our primary focus is to create a great customer experience through exceptional service. As a Food Service Manager, you will need to be skilled in food management, stocking products, and maintaining a clean, safe retail environment. This position requires good communication and cash-handling skills and good personal grooming habits. Physical requirements include standing up to 8 hours during a shift.
Pay: $20.00 hourly
Schedule: 6:00 am - 4:00 pm (usually 8-hour shift in between mentioned times)
Location: Reo, IN
Start: Immediate
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and prepare food.
- Plan for and purchase food.
- Ensure food in storage meets adequate freshness.
- Ensure program follows proper sanitation procedures.
- Ensure safety standards are maintained while food is being cooked.
- Prepare and serve the food.
- Respond to customer preferences and complaints.
- Set prices for each product, prices are approved through Director of Store Operations.
- Purchase and maintain equipment, including refrigerators, stoves, and microwaves.
- Keep records of supplies and purchases.
- Maintain the food service area.
- Do dishes daily.
- Garbage emptied by end of shift.
- Counters cleaned and organized.
- Help CSAs with the coffee/fountain area.
Requirements
- Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel).
- Prefer prior knowledge of food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must agree to background and credit check.
- Will be required to obtain ServSafe certification upon hire.
- Leadership knowledge and skills required.
