Job Title: Accounting Intern (Part-Time, Temporary)

   Position Summary

The Accounting Intern will support the accounting department with basic financial and administrative tasks. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in accounting processes while assisting the team with day-to-day operations.

   Key Responsibilities

• Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Reconcile basic account transactions and reports
• Assist with Excel spreadsheets and financial tracking
• Support month-end and routine reporting tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or planning to pursue a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Basic understanding of accounting principles preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Excel certification a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
• Good communication and willingness to learn

Preferred Skills

• Experience with accounting or bookkeeping coursework
• Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar is a plus)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
