We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Builder / Construction Superintendent to join our South Atlanta team. This position offers the opportunity to manage the full construction process, from groundbreaking to final walkthrough while being part of a dynamic and growing company.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily field operations for assigned residential construction projects.
- Manage schedules, coordinate trades, and ensure each home meets Valor’s high quality standards.
- Walk homes daily to monitor progress, safety, and workmanship.
- Communicate effectively with architects, engineers, trade partners, suppliers, and internal team members.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites at all times.
- Schedule and coordinate all municipal inspections.
- Conduct pre-closing walkthroughs with homeowners and assist in completing punch list items.
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds company standards for quality and customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular progress updates to leadership and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Manage material orders, deliveries, and trade contractor payments.
- Assist with problem-solving on-site and support trade partners when necessary to keep projects on track.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of residential homebuilding or construction management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and quality control practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Proficient in scheduling and project management software.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive base salary: $65,000 – $100,000, commensurate with experience.
