Opening its doors in the fall of 2024, the academy currently serves students from Kindergarten through 6th grade and is expanding to include 7th and 8th grades in the upcoming academic year. Enrollment is actively underway for the 2025-2026 school year, providing a solid foundation for the developing school community.
Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Art School Teacher to join our K-8 faculty at Valor Classical Christian Academy. This on-site role is based in Neenah, WI. The Art School Teacher will be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging art lessons, developing curriculum aligned with classical Christian education principles, fostering creativity in students through various forms of artistic expression like painting and drawing, and evaluating student progress. Additionally, the teacher will collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development with a focus on engaging and age-appropriate art education
- Strong skills in Teaching, particularly within a K-8 classroom setting
- Specialized knowledge and experience in Art Education, including techniques such as Painting
- A degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, Education, or a related field is preferred
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to inspire creativity in students and adapt teaching methods to various learning styles
- Commitment to integrating a Christian worldview into teaching practices
