Role Description
Valor Bluffs is seeking a Golf Course Superintendent for a full time, on-site role located in Bonne Terre, MO. The superintendent will oversee and manage the maintenance of the golf course, including turf, landscaping, irrigation, and sand traps. Daily responsibilities include developing and executing maintenance schedules, managing pest control and pesticide applications, ensuring optimal turf and soil quality, and working closely with staff to deliver a premium golf course experience. Equipment maintenance and compliance with environmental standards are also key responsibilities for this role.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Turf Management and Golf Course Management
- Proficiency in Irrigation systems and maintenance
- Skills in Landscape Maintenance, including upkeep of greens, sand traps, and water hazards
- Ability to apply and manage Pesticide treatments safely and effectively
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Leadership and team management experience in a similar role
- Degree or certification in Turfgrass Science, Agronomy, or related field is preferred
- Familiarity with environmental and safety standards is an advantage
