We are currently searching for a Loan Administrator to join our team. The Loan Administrator performs a wide variety of duties in the Commercial Lending Department. This position is responsible for performing various daily tasks related to the lending functions of the Bank, as well as handling functions that have a regulatory, monetary, and potential reputational risk impact. Functions are time sensitive and must be adhered to by means of policy and procedure.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Books newly closed loans as well as renewals, extensions, and modifications of existing loans to the Bank’s core system following closing and funding.
- Ensures perfection of the Bank’s liens and mortgages with all county and state recording offices as appropriate.
- Performs all aspects of servicing of the Bank’s commercial lending portfolio on the Bank’s core system, which may include but is not limited to issuing accurate and timely payment notices, applying loan payments, performing annual escrow analysis, making loan advances, and completing participation reconciliations.
- Maintains the commercial loan files by ensuring all loan documentation is scanned and properly filed / maintained in a timely manner subsequent to closing.
- Assists loan officers and portfolio managers in clearing loan document exceptions which may include but is not limited to filed mortgages, final title work, and ongoing insurance policies.
- Processes paid loan files, including completing any required collateral releases in a timely manner.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of all policies, procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Commercial Lending Department.
- Provides superior customer service to internal and external customers.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year(s) related experience.
- Direct experience and knowledge of loan documentation and loan compliance, specifically as it relates to loan servicing preferred.

- Ability to perform tasks quickly and accurately.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including the Microsoft Office tools, and the ability to utilize the Bank’s current software.
