Position Overview
Valor 3 Services, LLC (Valor 3) is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Financial Services Technicians (FSTs) to support the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center Financial Management Directorate (AFIMSC/FMFK) at Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota. In this role, FSTs will provide day-to-day financial operations support, including travel voucher processing, customer service, and financial system updates. All work must be completed in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, Air Force standards, and commercial best practices. Personnel are expected to meet all performance metrics outlined in the PWS, maintain a high level of professionalism, adhere to AFIMSC/FMFK appearance standards, and be available at the Period of Performance start date with qualified replacement personnel provided as needed. Ideal candidates are reliable, customer-focused professionals with strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills who can perform accurately and efficiently in a high-tempo environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, examine, compute, process, elevate, reject, or respond to inquiries related to travel vouchers to ensure accurate and timely payment of travel entitlements.
- Elevate difficult or time-intensive inquiries and track them until fully resolved.
- Identify and elevate knowledge gaps when they impact processing efficiency or accuracy.
- Maintain accurate case tracking for unresolved or escalated issues.
- Utilize and update various financial systems, including: RTS, FMWF, DTS, DJMS, DEAMS, LeaveWeb, and RTS Web Reports.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers.
- Support a high-tempo environment and meet established deadlines without compromising accuracy.
- Ensure all actions comply with Air Force policies, financial regulations, and PWS service standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- DOE Q or DoD Top Secret clearance (or ability to obtain/maintain one).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Experience working with travel voucher processing, financial systems, or administrative support functions preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional working relationships.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
