What are the responsibilities and job description for the TheSportster - Pro Wrestling Resource Writer position at Valnet Freelance?

The editorial team at TheSportster.com is currently looking for a freelance writer to produce Pro Wrestling resource content and maintain its accuracy over time. Resource-type content includes Championship lineages, current rosters from various promotions, and more.
Who we are
TheSportster is a trusted resource covering timely news and interesting facts from the world of pro wrestling (WWE, AEW, and more.) We are looking to expand our coverage of combat sports and go into the world of Boxing and MMA.
Expectations
- 1 to 2 articles per week and meet assigned deadlines
- Report to Lead Editor and implement feedback efficiently
- Finding and resizing images to fit the websites guidelines
- Input work into our in-house CMS following our style and formatting guidelines
What we’re looking for
- Previous publishing experience writing for a pro wrestling website
- Broad knowledge of pro wrestling
- Previous experience doing resource/database content (a plus)
