What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structured Finance Manager position at Vallum Associates?
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the structuring and execution of project finance transactions across solar, wind, and energy storage assets
- Build and maintain financial models for project valuation, cash flow forecasting, and investment analysis
- Conduct due diligence, including technical, financial, and legal review of renewable energy projects
- Assist in negotiating financing agreements, term sheets, and transaction documents
- Analyze debt and equity structures, including tax equity and partnership models
- Work with developers, EPCs, lenders, and investors to ensure successful project execution
- Prepare investment memos, presentations, and internal reports for stakeholders
- Monitor portfolio performance and support asset management activities
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, or renewable energy finance
- Strong understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques
- Experience with renewable energy projects (solar, wind, storage) preferred
- Knowledge of project finance structures (debt, equity, tax equity)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools
