Enterprise Account Executive - AI & Cloud Technology


Location: Greater Washington DC Area (Hybrid)


Compensation: $100,000 - $140,000 Base Salary Uncapped Commission


A rapidly growing technology business is seeking an ambitious Enterprise Account Executive to help drive the next stage of its commercial growth across North America.

Having built a strong reputation within the cloud and digital transformation space, the organisation is now investing heavily in an innovative AI platform designed to help highly regulated organisations adopt AI securely, responsibly and at scale.

Who We're Looking For

This role is ideally suited to someone with a genuine hunter mentality.

We're looking for an individual who enjoys creating opportunities where none previously existed, opening doors with new prospects, building relationships from scratch and navigating complex enterprise buying processes.

The successful candidate will be motivated by growth, ownership and the opportunity to build something meaningful rather than simply managing an inherited portfolio of accounts.

Individuals who have thrived within startup, scale-up or high-growth technology environments will be particularly well suited to this opportunity.

The Role

Reporting into senior commercial leadership, you will be responsible for developing and executing new business strategies across enterprise accounts.

You will take ownership of opportunities from initial outreach through to contract signature, working closely with technical, product and marketing teams throughout the sales cycle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new logo acquisition across enterprise organisations
  • Build and develop a strategic pipeline of opportunities
  • Manage complex sales cycles from prospecting through to close
  • Engage executive, operational and technical stakeholders
  • Conduct discovery sessions and align solutions to customer challenges
  • Work closely with pre-sales, product and marketing teams to support customer engagements
  • Collaborate with strategic partners and alliance channels
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and CRM discipline
  • Represent the organisation at customer meetings, events and industry engagements
  • Stay current on AI, cloud, data and enterprise technology trends


Candidate Profile

Applicants should demonstrate:

  • Proven success in enterprise technology sales
  • Experience within SaaS, cloud, AI, cybersecurity, data, analytics or enterprise software environments
  • A track record of securing new business and winning enterprise accounts
  • Experience selling into complex organisations with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong consultative sales and relationship-building skills
  • Experience engaging senior technology and business leaders, including CIOs, CTOs and executive teams
  • The ability to create momentum and progress opportunities independently
  • A proactive, resilient and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience managing multiple opportunities and sales cycles simultaneously


Highly Desirable

  • Startup or scale-up experience
  • Experience co-selling with channel partners, cloud providers or systems integrators
  • Exposure to highly regulated industries such as healthcare, education, government, financial services or critical infrastructure
  • Familiarity with cloud, AI or digital transformation programmes
