Under the direction of the Health Technology Management Director, the Medical Equipment Transporter plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of medical equipment within the healthcare facility. They are responsible for handling and moving a variety of medical devices, instruments, and supplies between different departments, patient rooms, and other designated areas. The primary goal of a medical equipment transporter is to facilitate the efficient flow of equipment to support patient care and medical procedures.
Hourly Pay Rate: $16.22 - $23.92

Qualifications
Education:
- A High School Diploma or GED certificate is preferred.
Experience:
- Prefer prior experience that demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must possess good verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills, including basic grammar, spelling, and punctuation knowledge.
- Requires the ability to work with professionals and maintain confidentiality standards.
- Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
- Must possess a current Arizona Class D driver’s license.
- Must have a clean driving record without serious offenses within thirty-six (36) months from hire, as stated in Valleywise Health's Vehicle Use Policy ("VUP”).
- Must be able to provide proof of auto liability insurance every six (6) months.
- Must undergo a Motor Vehicle Record check annually.
- Must comply with the additional requirements in the VUP Policy.
- Must be able to drive their personal vehicle to several Valleywise Health locations as determined by the department's needs.
