What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager Security position at Valleywise Health System?
Qualifications:
Education:
- Requires a high school diploma or GED. Prefer an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration or Communication.
Experience:
- Requires a minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in a field related to law enforcement, or security (healthcare setting preferred).
Specialized Training:
- Must successfully complete and pass firearms training within six months of employment.
Certification/Licensure:
- Must have a valid Arizona driver's license and be in good standing (no criminal record).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must have a working knowledge of Arizona state laws/city ordinances, public relations and investigative techniques.
- Requires skill to exercise tact, understanding, self-restraint, judgment, and confidentiality in dealing with people.
- Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
