What You’ll Do
- Perform laboratory testing on specimens across all patient populations
- Analyze results and ensure accuracy in accordance with established procedures
- Run and monitor quality control processes
- Perform instrument maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Support phlebotomy and specimen processing as needed
- Utilize LIS/HIS systems to manage workload and report results
- Prioritize testing to meet turnaround time expectations
What You Bring
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Knowledge of lab procedures, quality control, and instrumentation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Requirements
- Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Medical Technology, or related science
- Ability to obtain LA City Fire Card within 30 days
Preferred
- 1+ year of Clinical Laboratory Scientist experience
