Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service through active listening and helpful communication.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including scanning items, processing payments, and handling cash register operations.
- Manage cash drawer handling with precision, ensuring all cash handling procedures are followed securely.
- Maintain store merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented.
- Apply basic math skills for quick calculations during transactions and to assist customers with retail math questions.
- Demonstrate phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely, always maintaining professionalism.
- Support inventory management by stocking new merchandise and conducting periodic stock checks.
- Promote a positive shopping experience by communicating clearly and courteously with customers at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve our diverse customer base effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail sales transactions will help you hit the ground running.
