Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing blood draws and specimen collections at various locations, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process. Duties
- Perform venipuncture and blood sampling for laboratory testing in accordance with established protocols.
- Collect, label, and process specimens accurately while adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and functional.
- Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures to patients and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Monitor vital signs as needed and report any abnormalities to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure accurate specimen handling and timely processing of laboratory tests.
- Maintain detailed records of all procedures performed, including patient information and specimen collection details.
Skills
- Proficient in laboratory procedures and techniques, with hands-on experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and phlebotomy practices.
- Experience with specimen collection/processing, including blood draws using venipuncture methods.
- Excellent patient service skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
- Ability to work independently in various environments while maintaining high standards of patient care.
