What is an In Home Caregiver?
An In Home Caregiver is a Valley VNA employee that provides non medical in-home care to clients still living in their home!! This position gives you the opportunity to having meaningful one on one connections with clients in their home as well as assisting them with personal cares needed. In home caregivers are paid mileage and wage during travel time.

Hours Needed: We are currently hiring preferably for 6a-6p shift, this is will include every other weekend on Sat/Sun, but other full-time hours are welcomed as well. Preferably part-time candidates who are able to work Part time 3:30-7:30p but other part-time hours are welcomed as well. Preference will be given to applicants with Friday availability, regardless of time of day.
Essential Duties for In Home Caregivers include but are not limited to:
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour

- Reads and implements Individual Service Plans
- Medication reminders
- Provides personal cares to clients including toileting/showers
- Monitors client health and reports any changes appropriately
- Performs vital/weight checks as required
- Updates client records
- Assist client with life enrichment activities
- Make beds, changing linens
- Assist with personal laundry
- Light Housekeeping
- Light meal preparation
- Personal shopping/errands
- Transportation
