What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Shift Recovery Specialist position at Valley Vista?
Job Description:
Valley Vista is seeking caring and motivated Recovery Specialists at our Bradford facility, for the night shifts. This position will help patients have a positive and successful recovery by ensuring the patient understands his/her responsibilities in the program and giving guidance when needed.
Job Duties:
- Support patients in making positive changes, and de-escalate situations.
- Covers night checks
- Provide support in patient recovery, model healthy behavior, and provide a safe environment for individuals to grow and heal.
- Provides patient transportation if possible
- Attend shift change report meetings.
- Assist in client discharge process if applicable
- Chart interaction with patients and observations made in patient's record.
Job Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- A minimum of two years freedom from chemical abuse problems
