Patient Access Representative-Our mission at Valley Vision Clinic is to provide exceptional eye care for the entire family using advanced diagnostic, treatment, and educational services.

Join our team! We are hiring a full-time patient access representative at our Grand Forks office. Ideal candidate would enjoy a fast paced environment, multi-tasking and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients, providing exceptional customer service
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls efficiently and professionally
  • Schedule appointments
  • Perform data entry, filing, and maintain accurate records
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as typing, document preparation, and proofreading
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a welcoming environment
  • Manage phone etiquette and always ensure professional communication
  • Verifying insurance and benefits

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in scheduling appointments is preferred, especially in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer skills.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
