What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRN Surgical Services Aide, (as needed) position at Valley View?
Valley View is seeking a Surgical Services Aide to work DAYS, PRN (as needed). As a Surgical Services Aide, you will provide support to the surgical team under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include transporting patients, preparing equipment and supplies, stocking supplies, cleaning surgical department, transporting specimens and assisting in room turnover.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Current BLS through the American Heart Association
- CNA license or experience preferred
- Operating Room experience preferred
- Housekeeping experience in hospital setting preferred
- Physical conditions require frequent walking, bending, stooping and squatting; occasionally sit, occasionally lift, carry, push, pull maximum up to 50lbs with assistance
