Job Summary:
This per diem position in our 16-bed Emergency Department requires a registered nurse who can collaborate with the healthcare team to promote patient well-being and restore health through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
Responsibilities:
- Complete initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients' physical and psychological needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring continuity and coordination of care
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
