What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff RN (ALL SHIFTS) position at Valley View Manor?
Valley View Manor is looking for an energetic and compassionate Staff Nurse (RN) for our 82bed facility located in Norwich, NY.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assists in directing, and supervising all nursing services
provided in the facility to achieve desired clinical and financial outcomes. Assist in ensuring that the facility is in compliance with all regulatory requirements. Assists in ensuring necessary equipment, supplies, and staffing are available for the delivery of
the prescribed resident/patient care.
• Completes rounds of the facility to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and
regulations.
• Coordinates the care of residents on assigned shift.
• Demonstrate effective and organized communication with residents, families, staff, and medical
providers.
• Demonstrate an ability to solve problems and multi-task under pressure.
Requirements/Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.
• Licensed in NYS as a registered nurse,
• Ability to supervise and discipline staff and ensure that high standards of care are maintained as
necessary.
• Knowledge and experience of PICC/IV management, wound vac management, trach care, medical drain management preferred
