What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN evening Building Charge position at Valley View Manor Healthcare Center?
Valley View is recruiting for an evening shift RN building charge to become a part of our team! Hours are from 3pm-11:30pm.
The Nursing supervisor duties include but are not limited to:
• Providing direct patient care in accordance with state, federal and facility guidelines
• Supervising CNAs and LPNs
• Medication administration • Wound and treatment care
• Provide general nursing care to patients in accordance to the facility nursing policy and procedure
• Addressing problems identified in the patient care plan for RN Nurse review.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Current license by the Minnesota Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy
• Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents.
