What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) Heart and Vascular - Grand Junction Clinic Location position at Valley View Hospital Association?

We have the nursing position for you! Located at our Heart & Vascular Clinic located in GRAND JUNCTION, Colorado.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Triaging and assessing patient concerns.
- Providing care coordination
- Pre and Post Procedure planning and education.
- Assisting with Exercise Stress Tests
- Performing EKGs
- Applying and providing oversight on heart monitors and heart rhythms
- Starting IVs for testing purposes
- Educating patients on disease processes, diagnoses, medications, and plan of care
- Serves as a clinical leader and mentor to medical assistant and patient service specialist staff
- Occasionally assisting with rooming of clinic patients

Requirements:
- Current Colorado RN license or ability to obtain.
- BLS and ACLS Certifications through the American Heart Association.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year RN work experience.
- Previous RN Ambulatory Care experience in a Cardiology Clinic or Med Surg or CCU experience is required
- Experience working with an EMR, Athena is also a plus.

SALARY RANGE
- $33.99 - $49.98/hour (BSN)
- $32.68 - $48.06/hour (ADN)
- Valley View recognizes a 4% pay difference for RN ADN, BSN, MSN.
- Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
- Annual Bonuses based upon organizational and individual performance.
