Valley View Retirement Community is seeking a Memory Support and Engagement Director to lead the daily delivery of exceptional, person-centered programming in our Memory Lane neighborhood—and our soon-to-open Memory Support Personal Care Neighborhood.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Memory Support Neighborhoods, ensuring a warm, engaging, and safe environment for residents.

• Implement dementia-friendly best practices through hands-on leadership and collaboration.

• Build strong relationships with residents and families, ensuring care aligns with individual strengths, preferences, and life stories.

• Guide, mentor, and support team members to deliver compassionate, high-quality engagement every day.

• Design and evaluate programs that promote resident well-being, purpose, and connection.

• Serve as a welcoming resource for families, visitors, and volunteers while representing Valley View with professionalism and warmth.

• Participate in weekend/holiday administrator rotation and uphold all organizational policies and compliance standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation, Gerontology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 3–5 years of experience working in dementia or memory care services.

• Proven leadership skills and the ability to coordinate programs and inspire a team.

• Compassionate communicator with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Creative, adaptable, and motivated to bring innovation to memory support programming.

• Commitment to upholding Valley View’s mission, vision, and values.
