- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments or Analysis and develop Behavior Intervention Plans.
- Provide ongoing consultation to staff who work with students who exhibit behavioral difficulties utilizing a coaching and learning approach.
- Actively participate as a member of the Student Services leadership team and other district committees for developing and implementing plans to address overall district academic and behavioral performance.
- Collect, analyze and utilize data to make informed decisions for academic and behavioral needs of students.
- Provide direct and/or consultative support to students and teams within and outside the classroom setting, planning and conferring with school teams concerning social emotional and behavioral issues.
- Support teams in the evaluation process of students with social and emotional concerns impacting functional and academic performance.
- Lead school-based teams in the development, revision, implementation, and monitoring of fidelity of behavior plans as needed.
- Train and supervise the implementation of behavioral assessment measures and functional assessment measures as needed.
- Take leadership role in scheduling and providing training in crisis response; support and participate actively on crisis teams while providing ongoing feedback of their effectiveness.
- Actively identify and address systemic barriers to learning impacting the school environment.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate programs that address educational and behavioral concerns.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate designated staff (Registered Behavior Technicians) in use of evidence-based behavioral strategies, and support other colleagues with use of the same.
- Provide support services to Parents/Guardians.
- Enforce and support District and School policies, philosophies and objectives with students and parents
- Provide supervision hours for Supervised Independent Fieldwork, if qualified.
- Travel to different Community Based Organizations will be required (Mileage will be reimbursed).
- Other associated duties as assigned.
- Current and Valid Licensure as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst from an entity approved by the Illinois Department of Human Services (ie: Behavior Analyst Certification Board)
- Masters degree in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Social Work strongly preferred
- Illinois (PEL) Professional Educator License
- Experience working with children with behavioral needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Delays, Intellectual Disabilities, and Social/Emotional Disorders in public school settings
- Experience writing, training, and evaluating academic programming for students; using numerous data collection methods
- Highly trained in the areas of Social and Emotional Learning, managing aggressive behavior, and Crisis Response.
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships; demonstrate a commitment to teamwork.
- Ability to learn and utilize office equipment, computers, and software especially as systems are updated.
- Ability to react well under pressure, handle and balance multiple demands at one time, work with frequent interruptions, and perform duties and tasks at expected levels of professionalism.
- Extensive knowledge of and ability to perform duties in compliance with all district, Board, state and federal laws, methods, requirements, policies, procedures, and activities pertinent to the duties of this position.

Title: Early Childhood Community Based Behavior Analyst
Reports To: Executive Director of Student Services or Designee, Early Childhood Principal, Assistant Principal, and Inclusion Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY: Supervises and directs services to students, staff, and families regarding behavior management. Ensures the effective assessment of behavioral and educational needs of students with and without disabilities in a variety of community based settings including, but not limited to Head Start, childcare centers, and community-based preschools to provide support to a student or students with disabilities. Leads the development of behavior assessments and intervention plans, and ensures they are carried in consultation with staff members in these settings.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY: Work is performed within the school/district environment where unusual temperature changes are relatively non-existent and the noise level is quiet to moderate. Employee may experience constant interruptions and inflexible deadlines. Work regularly requires the employee to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear and use hands for fine manipulation. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to travel from building to building is necessary.
