Role Description The Veterinarian is a full-time, on-site role based at Valley Veterinary Hospital in Modesto, CA. In this role, the Veterinarian provides medical, surgical, and dental care for companion animals, including examinations, diagnostics, treatment planning, and follow-up care. Daily responsibilities include performing spay and neuter surgeries, administering vaccinations, interpreting radiographs, prescribing medications, and managing preventive care plans for pets of all ages. Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution and current, or eligible, veterinary license in the state of California.

- Surgical and dental skills, including competence in spay/neuter procedures, basic soft tissue surgery, and routine dental care.
- Ability to interpret radiographs, laboratory results, and other diagnostic tests to inform appropriate medical decisions.
- Strong communication and client education skills, with the ability to explain medical conditions, treatment options, and home care in clear, accessible language.
