We are seeking a skilled Body Shop Estimator to join our team at Valley Truck Centers in Northeast Ohio. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assessing vehicle damage and providing accurate estimates for repairs, contributing to our commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage and prepare detailed estimates for repairs
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure accurate repair processes
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair options and costs
- Maintain records of estimates and repair orders
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the estimation process
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices
- Assist in upselling additional services when appropriate
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications

- Proven experience in auto estimating within a dealership environment
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes and mechanical systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with service writing software is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
