Duties
- Lead and coordinate daily operations of conveyance systems, including pipelines, pumps, tanks, and related infrastructure
- Supervise heavy equipment operation such as industrial pumps, construction machinery, and tanker trucks to ensure safe handling and optimal performance
- Oversee maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of conveyance equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCS)
- Conduct routine inspections of wastewater systems, water treatment facilities, and associated infrastructure to ensure environmental compliance
- Collect and analyze operational data to monitor system performance, identify issues early, and implement corrective actions
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all team members during operations and maintenance activities
- Coordinate with environmental agencies to maintain compliance with regulations related to wastewater treatment and water systems
Requirements
- Proven experience working in the energy & utilities sector with a focus on wastewater treatment or water treatment systems
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and industrial pump maintenance
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and automation technology used in water systems
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as construction machinery, tanker trucks, or industrial pumps
- Knowledge of environmental regulations pertaining to wastewater systems and water treatment facilities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and conduct plumbing or construction tasks as needed
- Basic math skills combined with strong analysis capabilities for troubleshooting system issues effectively
- Excellent communication skills for team coordination, reporting, and documentation purposes
- Commitment to safety practices including proper PPE use and adherence to safety protocols
